World War II-Era aircraft two-pack includes two warbirds on display stands. They fit on a threaded screw post on the stand, so if you wish to display them without the stand, remember to loosen the screw from below turn them rather than just pulling to remove them. This set features:

Supermarine Spitfire Mk. VIII/IX
Paint and markings represent the Spitfire 'Fargo Express' flown by Capt. Leland P. Molland of the USAAF 308th Fighter Squadron, 31st Fighter Group. In August 1942, this 8th Air Force squadron equipped with Spitfires supported the Dieppe Raid. They were assigned to 12th Air Force to support the invasion of North Africa. They were active in North Africa and the Mediterranean, escorting bombers and supporting the landings at Sicily, Salerno, and Anzio. They converted to P-51's when assigned to 15th Air Force in April 1944. Capt. Molland earned 11 victories during his service.
